HISTORY

In 1972 , the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 emerged as a legend in the golden age of sports cars. Designed by Porsche engineers in Stuttgart under the direction of Ferdinand Piëch , it featured a 2.7-litre flat-six engine and a revolutionary design. Using innovative materials such as fibreglass to reduce its weight, the Carrera RS 2.7 was distinguished by its " ducktail " rear spoiler and sleek lines, optimising aerodynamics. Its perfect balance between lightness and power allowed it to achieve numerous racing victories, setting new standards for performance and making a lasting mark on sports car history.

As the forerunner of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it laid the foundations for future generations of Porsche sports cars, redefining the standards of performance and innovation .

Fifty years later, in 2022 , the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Type 992 emerges as a modern legend in the world of sports cars. Designed by Porsche engineers , this car, equipped with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine and an exceptional aerodynamic design, redefines the standards of automotive performance. The story of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Type 992 begins in Stuttgart , where Porsche experts took on the challenge of creating an unrivaled machine using cutting-edge materials, such as carbon fiber. Under the direction of the Porsche engineering team, this new incarnation aims to combine speed , precision and lightness .

Every curve of the 911 GT3 RS Type 992 is meticulously sculpted to maximize aerodynamics and efficiency, perfectly merging aesthetics and performance. Wider air intakes and a distinctive grille accentuate its aggressive stance, while at the rear, a prominent spoiler and optimized diffuser ensure unmatched grip and stability at high speeds.

Inside, the focus is on pure performance, with carbon fiber bucket seats and a racing- inspired dashboard. Every detail, from the lightweight carbon fiber finishes to the ergonomic controls, reflects Porsche's commitment to excellence and precision .

In short, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Type 992 embody the spirit of German engineering and high-level craftsmanship . The Carrera RS 2.7 laid the foundation for what would become the GT3 RS, redefining the standards of sports cars by combining extreme performance with sophisticated design. Together, they honor the Porsche heritage, where each car is a masterpiece of technology and craftsmanship.

CREATION PROCESS

For each creation , an initial phase of research and documentation is essential, covering the model, its origins , its designer , and its technical aspects.

Here, the artist chose to depict a peregrine falcon to symbolize the blazing speed and surgical precision of the Porsche.

The first step is to make the pencil sketch of each sketch , a meticulous work requiring great mastery to capture all the details of the Porsche. Then comes the inking phase with liner to accentuate the details. And finally, the artist does the coloring using alcohol markers and very soft pencils whose binder is wax-based.

Once the work is completed, the artist signs his works, dates them, and scans them to clean them up using professional software.

The artist spends about 15 days to complete the process , from the initial research phase to the final layout. This creation took almost 65 hours of work to complete.

Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and two personalized stickers bearing the signature "TIM DRAW". One sticker is affixed to the back of the work, while the other is attached to the certificate of authenticity.

* This creation was not created as part of an official collaboration with the Porsche brand.
